Grew mine when 1st child was an infant with colic...

By accident I discovered that if she rubbed the top of her head against my beard stubble it soothed her & stopped her crying. My wife was not to keen on me having a beard but once the crying stopped she was OK with it. I tried to convince her that if the beard felt good on my daughters head imagine how it would feel between her (wife's) thighs. She did buy it. I've had it 20+ years & only shaved it twice, once was when my daughter got married & wanted me clean shaven for the wedding pictures. Since she was the reason I grew it in the first place, I agreed.
